Day-1 : Mumbai to Ganptiphule

We started our journey from Mumbai at 5.30 AM. There was vert little traffic and road till Khapoli was good. After that we took a turn towards Pali, which would eventually connect us to NH 66. This road had a lot of potholes and was very bumpy. The road however was very scenic and we enjoyed the drive.

Once we connected to NH 66, the road was even worse. It had big potholes and was raining heavily. There was a diversion to a small road which was a short route so my dad took that route. The road was very beautiful with lots of beautiful views all along the route. The road was very good with no traffic at all.

At one place, the road had caved in due to heavy rainfall in previous few days. We stopped to see if we can move ahead or should we go back. But there was a small temporary road made by local villagers which could be used to cross that place. My dad drove very carefully and we got out of that spot.

There were several beautiful places on the route where we stopped and took numerous photographs

After driving for 8 hours we finally reached our hotel in Ganptiphule

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
